With spending much of his youth crewing for his uncle Danny and learning from his grandfather George Lasoski, Brian started his career by winning the 2000 Winged Outlaw Warriors 360 Championship in his first full season of racing. In 2002, at the famed Knoxville racetrack, Brown won both the 360-track championship and “Rookie of the Year” honors.
With taking over as a car title-holder in 2009, Brown gained four wins at Knoxville Raceway and finished a close second in the championship standings earning the 410 “Car Title-holder of the Year” honors. He’s accomplished one of his life-long goals by winning the 410-track champion at Knoxville Raceway in 2007 and again in 2010.
Brian has qualified for the Knoxville Nationals A main three times. In 2007 he earned the “hard-charger choice” with an impressive 13th place end. In 2010, Brian sat on the pole of the 50th Annual Knoxville Nationals and blew a tire even as running forth with only 15 laps to go in the 50-lap event. In 2011, he logged a remarkable 7th place finished despite a serious back injury caused from a violent crash at the 360 Nationals.
