Brussels proposes to raise diesel tax to reduce CO2 emissions
Algirdas Semeta the EU Commisison responsible for taxation has said that the Commission has adopted a proposal on smarter energy taxation for Europe. It will involve alignment of the ETS (Emmission Trading System) with the taxation system.
